Our 2026 Beneficiary Touched By ALS
We are beyond happy to announce that the beneficiary for J.L. Mann's 2026 Spirit Week is the non profit organization "Touched By ALS."
A.L.S. ( also commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease) is a fatal, progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes a person to slowly lose all motor functions. Symptoms worsen overtime, and patients eventually loose all ability to move, speak, swallow, and breath. Patients are essentially trapped in their own minds. As their cognitive ability remains the same, they lose all physical abilities.
Touched By ALS exists to help individuals and their families in Upstate South Carolina who have been impacted by this horrible disease. They provide financial, physical, and emotional support to those who need it. No one should have to deal with a terminal disease, while also having to worry about how to keep their lights on.
